Glenn "Fizz" Ehrler

Glenn Thomas "Fizz" Ehrler was born on March 28, 1945, in Sycamore. He married June A. Siemers on August 27, 1966.


Glenn worked as a production welder for Barber-Greene from 1965-1970. From there, he was the proud owner and operator of Ehrler's Repair - "Best place in town to take a leak." In 1997, after giving 27 years of service to his car repair customers, Glenn retired. 


He was a member of the Road Angels for 23 years and a lifetime member of the National Street Rod Association and Custom Kemps of America.


Glenn Thomas "Fizz" Ehrler, 55, of Sycamore, IL, passed away on January 16, 2001. Created to honor the legacy of Glenn, the Fizz Ehrler Automotive Technology Scholarship Fund provides scholarship support for Sycamore High School graduates pursuing auto mechanics, collision, and diesel power technology. Through the Scholarship Fund and the impact it creates, Glenn's memory stays alive and continues to leave a legacy of love and support to the community.
