Jolynn Wisted Rogers was born April 1, 1956. She graduated from DeKalb High School in 1974 and attended Northern Illinois University. In 1977, she married Rick Rogers and the couple had two children, Courtney and Jordan.

In the late 1980s and 1990s, Jolynn was the merchandising manager for Ideal Industries. She later served Square D as the sales operation manager. Jolynn helped many companies promote their businesses through merchandising strategies from the retail world.

After her passing in 2005, Jolynn’s family created the Jolynn Wisted Rogers Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Fund provides financial support to a graduating DeKalb High School senior who intends to pursue a business-related curriculum, preferably marketing, at Northern Illinois University. Joylynn’s legacy continues on in her annual gift of opportunity and education.
