Michael D. Constant (1946–2025) lived a life marked by leadership, service, and a deep commitment to community. After building a successful career in management and finance, he and his wife, Debbie, made Hinckley their home in 1991. Mike served more than 20 years as a Village of Hinckley Trustee and played an instrumental role in advancing local initiatives, including the community project Harvesting Our Future. He believed strongly in thoughtful planning and investing in the future of the town he loved.

His dedication to local philanthropy extended to the DeKalb County Community Foundation, where he served on the Board and most recently as Vice President. He helped strengthen the Foundation’s impact and championed long-term community investment across the county.

In his memory, the Hinckley Community Endowment Fund was created at the DeKalb County Community Foundation to honor his legacy and commitment to his hometown. Through this lasting Fund, Mike’s vision for a strong and vibrant Hinckley will continue to benefit the community for generations to come.
