Raymond Larsen
Raymond Larsen was born December 1, 1914, in Sandwich, Illinois. Ray worked for R.R. Donnelly and Sons, in Chicago for 35 years before retiring in 1972. In 1977, Ray purchased the Print Shop in Sandwich and operated it until 1984, when he sold it.
On July 16, 1998, Raymond established a Donor Advised Fund at the DeKalb County Community Foundation. This Fund allowed Raymond to make grant recommendations to support his charitable interests in the community.
Raymond Larsen passed away Friday, December 7, 2001. At that time, the Fund changed to a Designated Fund. The Raymond Larsen Donor Advised Fund aligns with his charitable interests providing support for the Fox Valley Community Services, Voluntary Action Center, and the Rotary Club of Sandwich (Raymond Larsen Scholarship). Through this generosity, Raymond leaves a lasting impact of love and support in the Sandwich community.
