Thomas Rhoades (1946–2021) was dedicated to family, agriculture, and the values of hard work and community involvement. He believed in the importance of providing opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and develop strong leadership skills. Those who knew him remember his steady character, generous spirit, and deep connection to DeKalb County.

In his memory, gifts were directed to the DeKalb County 4-H Fund for Scholarships at the DeKalb County Community Foundation. His legacy continues to support local youth as they pursue education and build bright futures through 4-H.
